Student Discounts for Southeastern Oklahoma State University Students

Have you ever wondered how you can save money when going to a fast food restaurant or shopping in Durant, Oklahoma? There are over 30 local businesses that give student discounts as long as you have your student I.D.

If you ever want to go tanning, Midnight Sun gives five dollars off tanning packages and tanning lotion, or Cool Rayz gives a ten percent discount. If you ever want to go shopping at Durant’s local boutiques, Bliss, Dash B, The Trippie Hippie Co., Southern Drawl and Bella Ragazza gives ten percent off the total when checking out. If you enjoy spa days, Journey Day Spa also gives ten percent off.

If you like to play golf as a hobby, Denison Golf and Country Club gives five dollars off on 18 holes Mondays through Fridays. If you’re a dude that likes to work out every day of his life, Anytime Fitness gives you your first month for free and the sign-up fee waived, or there is Workout Anytime and they give a one-dollar sign-up fee and they reduce the monthly rate.

For all the party people out there who like to go get something to eat at three in the morning, Taco Bell gives ten percent off and Whataburger ups your drink and fries to a Whatasize.

Many local restaurants and fast food places have student discounts up to ten percent off such as, Jalapeno’s, Chili’s, Chicken Express, Marcos Pizza, Durant Station and Dairy Queen. Of course, we can’t forget about Coffee! If you need coffee to keep you goingthroughout the day, Hot Shots gives a twenty-five percent discount and Blake’s gives ten percent off.

Morgan Rosamond, a sophomore Greek member from Tri Sigma, stated that, “Student Discounts help us college students to save money and it also helps promote our local businesses to become our favorite local businesses.”
