About Me
I was born in Odessa, Texas on November 7th, 1999. My parents are Kristin and Jon Brewer; Lisa and Ronnie Freeman. I have two brothers named Collin and Parker Freeman, and two step siblings named Dorian and Marina Alvarado.
I moved to Ardmore, OK when I was going into the eighth grade, which was in 2014. I attended Plainview Middle School and graduated from Plainview High School in 2018. Throughout my years of high school, my English teachers would always tell me how I should send some of my poem into the American Library of Poetry, and one year, in 2016, I decided to do so, and it got published in the Book of Eloquence. My junior year of high school, my English teacher then told me to write an article related to sports or a player and send it to oklahomasports.net, and so I did. The article was about Night to Shine, a prom for people with disabilities and it was hosted by Tim Tebow, a former University of Florida football player. So, in high school I made two accomplishments with my writing and the future definitely holds more.
I am now a full-time student at Southeastern Oklahoma State University as a sophomore majoring in Journalism. I help out with the school's magazine and try to get better at my writing every day.
I am a Jesus lover. I go to Honduras every year with my church for a week during Thanksgiving. We spread the word of Jesus and love to these children who do not really get to see what genuine love looks or even feels like. Seeing their smiles and happiness when our team goes every year is something people don't get to experience often. My favorite part of the trip and going there is that you see things in a complete different perspective, and not only are you making an impact on their lives, they are making an impact on your life as well, and that's just the beauty of God.
Writing has always been something I have enjoyed. It's my way to escape from everything, so is singing. I have been singing since I was three and writing short stories, songs, poetry, etc. since I was six years old. Writing blocks are not my favorite, in fact, they highly irritate me. So, here was a little about me. Hopefully you can find out more from what you see!
Stay tuned.
xoxo
